More about your EPC rating

Improving your EPC rating is great for the environment and your back pocket. The more efficient your property, the less energy is required to heat your home.  Plus, the EPC rating of your property directly impacts the value of your home, so improving your property’s energy efficiency is not just a long-term investment for you but also for the planet!

We measure a property’s energy performance via an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) in the UK. The EPC rating scheme bands properties between “A”, the most efficient and “G”, the least efficient.

If you decide to make the most of this offer, upon completion of your free survey, you will receive your EPC, which will be valid for ten years.

Existing Pepper Money customers may qualify for a free EPC. We will be writing to you when you can claim yours.

Upon completion of your survey, you’ll receive your certificate and action plan to improve your EPC rating, which will include recommendations on the key steps you could undertake to improve the efficiency of your property, the estimated cost for making those changes and the likely annual cost saving. Remember we’re here to discuss your borrowing needs and would love to talk to you about funding some or all of those improvements.
