We are aware of scams involving individuals being offered loans for an advanced upfront fee. With the fraudster posing as a representative of a financial services organisation. At Pepper Money we do not charge any fees before the application stage. We would not approach you directly in this way. Your broker will be able to tell you what fees and charges the product you’re applying for has, and when they will be charged. If you think you have been a victim of such a scam, please contact your bank immediately and report it to action fraud.

Additional Support

At Pepper Money, our main lending principle is to encourage and support financial inclusion for all. This is underpinned by our human approach to underwriting, enabling us to build a truer picture and reach a fairer outcome for customers.

We pride ourselves on our ability to look beyond the numbers of a credit score, and our specialist team of skilled, manual underwriters review each case on its own merits.

We appreciate that life changes can impact a customers circumstance in various ways. Our relationship with both our broker partners and customers helps us to identify and understand the pressures and issues some customers may face. It is important we continually work together to provide the specialist support to help manage and where possible, overcome the causes of additional pressures and issues that impact wellbeing.

If your circumstances have changed and you are worried that you won’t be able to keep up with your mortgage or loan payments now or in the future please contact us on
